Andrew Shue’s son, Nate, apparently wants to “move on” from the Amy Robach and TJ Holmes scandal now that the pair have left “GMA3.”
On Saturday, the 26-year-old posted a GIF via his Jimmy Fallon Instagram Stories saying, “Let’s move on” (per Us Weekly).
The encrypted social media upload came a day after ABC confirmed the departure of Nate’s third-hour stepmother from the morning show alongside his co-anchor-turned-lover.
“After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about different options, we all agreed that it was best for everyone if they left ABC News,” a network spokesperson said in a statement Friday.
“We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are grateful for their contributions.”
In an email note obtained by Page Six later the same day, ABC News President Kim Godwin called the co-hosts’ affair a “distraction” and thanked the rest of the staff for their ” patience and professionalism”.
As for Robach and Holmes’ replacements, the memo says an announcement will be made at a later date.
Robach, 49, and Holmes, 45, are unfazed by the drama, however, as she was pictured straddling him in Los Angeles on Friday.
The reporters’ off-screen relationship was revealed in November 2022.
Later that same month, Page Six reported that Robach had “nearly finalized” her divorce from Shue, whom she married in 2010. They shared custody of their Maltipoo, Brody.
Holmes, for his part, married Marilee Fiebig in 2010, and the couple welcomed daughter Sabine three years later.
The former CNN correspondent filed for divorce from Fiebig in December 2022.
The 45-year-old lawyer broke her silence earlier this month through her divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman, who said her client was “disappointed by the lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity of TJ”.
Fiebig called 10-year-old Sabine his “only focus”.
In addition to Holmes’ affair with Robach, he reportedly met several junior employees at work in 2015.
Representatives for Holmes declined to comment on his alleged office antics.
