The mystery man told Simpson at the time that his relationship with his girlfriend was “completely over.”

Simpson ended things, writing, “I didn’t care that he was my teenage fantasy come true, it wasn’t a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of.”
The adventure was not mentioned in Simpson’s “Open Book” memoir, which was released in February 2020 and is currently being adapted into a scripted series.
Simpson’s book, however, covered her other high-profile romances with singer John Mayer, stuntman Johnny Knoxville, athlete Tony Romo and other stars.
