College football’s 2023 recruiting cycle comes to an end with National Signing Day. Wednesday is the last day high school recruits can sign their national letters of intent to lock them into schools of their choice.
The early signing period in December brought a lot of chaos. Three five-star recruits flipped their pledges in a week – one of whom flipped her pledge twice in two days.
Since then, however, some coaches have been considering changing the recruitment schedule. In early January, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey told reporters: “There hasn’t been a coach I’ve visited with around our bowling games who hasn’t said it was become overwhelming for us.”
It remains to be seen what future signing periods will look like, but for the class of 2023, that’s it. We bring you the latest news, analysis, class ranking moves and player announcements throughout Wednesday.

Rashada, the seventh-ranked quarterback and No. 31 overall prospect, signed his national letter of intent with Florida in December. However, he was granted a release in mid-January after a $13.5 million name, likeness and likeness deal with the school’s failed Gator collective.
