Looks like Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis are starting 2023 on good terms.
Amid their high-profile custody battle — and the actress’ recent split from Harry Styles — the exes were spotted pulling together in Los Angeles on Friday.
Wilde, 38, and Sudeikis, 47, were pictured hugging her in a public car park, seemingly paying no attention to onlookers as they exchanged smiles and happily kissed.
The ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ director was dressed casually in a yellow varsity sweatshirt with matching Adidas sneakers and jeans.
Sudeikis also opted for comfort in an off-white hoodie, navy pants and a baseball cap.
As previously reported, Wilde called off her seven-year engagement to the ‘Ted Lasso’ star – with whom she shares children Otis, 8, and Daisy, 6 – in the fall of 2020.
She quickly moved on to Styles, 28, after the two started working on “Don’t Worry Darling” together. In September 2022, Wilde denied leaving Sudeikis for the former One Direction idol.

“The whole idea that I left Jason for Harry is completely inaccurate,” she told Vanity Fair at the time. “Our relationship was over long before I met Harry. Like any relationship that ends, it doesn’t end overnight.
“I evolved a lot between the ages of 27 and 35. I found myself a director. And I think I found myself as an individual,” she continued. “Sometimes when you evolve, you come out of relationships based on an earlier version of yourself.”
Wilde further alleged that she and Sudeikis realized their partnership “was no longer beneficial” to their children after experiencing bumpy challenges “early on” in the coronavirus pandemic.
“We could be better parents as friends who live in different homes,” she explained, noting, “Haven’t the kids been through enough?”

Wilde and Sudeikis’ custody battle continued to make several headlines, especially after the actor served his ex-fiancée with custody papers while she was on stage at CinemaCon in April 2022.
“Unfortunately, it wasn’t something that completely surprised me. I mean, there’s a reason why I left that relationship,” Wilde said of the “vicious” move in an interview. August 2022 with Variety.

And while things seemed to be going smoothly between Wilde and Styles for a while, news broke in November 2022 that the two had broken up.

For his part, the “As It Was” singer was recently spotted reuniting with his former high school student, Ellis Calcutt, in London. The two were pictured having coffee earlier this week in photos obtained by Page Six.
