Zacharie Levi said something that Twitter takes as an anti-vax stance – which could cause problems for Warner Bros. Discovery…because he has a blockbuster movie to promote.
The actor – who stars in ‘Shazam!’ franchise — answered a question posed on the Bird app by Lyndon Wood, who asked … “Do you agree or not, that Pfizer is a real danger to the world?” ZL’s response was no doubt how he feels, “Hardcore okay.”
Hardcore okay. 😐 https://t.co/goeEf5UQ5s

There’s not much more context beyond that, and right away… Twitter users started bashing the dude and calling him a right-winger spouting anti-vax rhetoric. It’s also prompted people to grab old clips of Zach that they consider problematic – including a Joe Rogan interview he did a few years ago, where they talked about Elliot Page and Jordan Peterson.
Sure, jokes also started flying in regards to WBD and how the executives there might react to this news… at first glance, it looks like a PR nightmare – especially with “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” at the horizon and a press tour that will undoubtedly come with it.
Welp, Zach got wind of all the brouhaha and tried to clarify…by tweeting a link to a 2009 DOJ press release regarding a fraud case Pfizer was involved in at the time, when they agreed to pay a $2.3 billion settlement. He says that’s what he was referring to.
In other words, he’s now trying to sound like he’s speaking out against Big Pharma corruption — but, frankly, Twitter isn’t really buying it… especially amid Project’s latest drop. Veritas, which has been top minded in most conservative media.
Just an example of what I’m referring to…😔https://t.co/5xCpCSCDrl

Time will tell how this might affect things with the water tower team. You could say that WBD had a much bigger scandal on its hands with Ezra Miller …and they ended up getting it back pretty well. Their movie isn’t canceled — it’s actually due out later this year.
Of course, it all depends on what james gunn and Saffron Stone want to do with “Shazam!”. They’re leading DC now, and they gave up A LOT These last months.
Rocking the boat during such a transition period may not be the best idea. I’m just saying!
